Barry Mayers, a driver in the Barbados Auto Racing League, took a tube-frame Suzuki SX4, dropped a 13,000 RPM 2.5 liter touring car-spec Alfa Romeo V6 in the middle, and built the most nutzo “hatch with a motor where the kids and groceries go” in all of history.

We must never forget his wonderful genius. If the greatest reason why is “why not?”, his greatness makes him a god.

Your mention of your SX4 reminded me that this amazing machine existed.

When you finish a build, step back to look at the thing, and think “you know, this thing may well nearly kill me. I should probably put my blood type on the quarter window next to my name, just in case...”, you’ve really built something impressive.

(Probably not at all what O+ means in this case, just the first thing that popped into my head).
